Terms & Conditions
All references to "we" and "us" in the Terms & Conditions that follow means any employee or staff member or associate of The London Touch.
How do I book?
Bookings can be made by using our booking form. Please email us with your booking details and we will check availability and get back to you as soon as possible. Once we've confirmed arrangements, we will send you an invoice, booking details & terms.
Costs/How do I pay?
General bookings - Payments can be made via:
- Bank transfer
- Card via Telephone
- Cheque (Only if booking 14 days in advance to allow cheque to clear).
Once we have confirmed your booking we will invoice you for the full amount. Last minute bookings are welcome, with immediate full payment via PayPal or card to secure.
Bridal Bookings/Party packages
- Rates may vary dependent on your personal requests and location.
- For bookings £199 and under, we take 25% booking fee - non refundable.
- For bookings £200+ we take 35% booking fee - non refundable.
The remaining payment can be paid cash directly to us at the start of your booking or via our stated payment methods.
We advise booking bridal trials and securing your appointments well in advance (6 weeks+) to ensure our availability and enough time to fully prepare you.
Any costs incurred for congestion & parking will be added to the cost of treatment. Please let us know prior to your appointment of any parking restrictions.
To cover the cost of travel we may charge 45p per mile, this varies on location and will be confirmed at the time of booking. The fee will be calculated by the distance we travel. First 10 miles are FREE!!
Please inform us at the time of booking of any health issues or medical conditions we may need to be aware of, including allergies or pregnancy. We will then be able to advise you accordingly of suitable treatments. A full consultation will be done prior to all first beauty treatments with us. Unfortunately in some cases we may not be able to treat you without doctor's written consent.
Some treatments such as eyebrow tinting require a patch test to be done 48 hours before treatment. To save time, we initially do one at each new booking and log the results on your file so that in future we do not have to test until a new one is due or circumstances change.
Do I need to provide anything for the appointment?
For treatments in your home, we would appreciate it if you could ensure there is room for the treatment to be carried out, particularly when large equipment such as spray tan tents and massage tables are required.
All of our consultants are fairly self sufficient, they may need some hot water or to use an electrical socket. They will also need to use the standard chairs and tables in your house (they will provide towels to cover your table).
The main thing they will appreciate is a nice welcome on their arrival as they may feel a little nervous entering a stranger's house. Pampering can also be thirsty work so they may appreciate the offer of a glass of water or a cuppa!
We may arrive a few minutes early in order to set up any relevant equipment for your treatment. For safety, we advise that small children and pets are kept out of the room where the treatment will be taking place.
Cancellations by you
We would appreciate at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your treatment. Canellations must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org
Should we arrive and you cancel at the time of your appointment without prior notification, the full cost of the treatment will be charged.
We will aim to send you a reminder about your treatment approximately 2 days before.
Will I get my deposit back?
If you cancel your appointment within 5 working days of booking, we will issue a full refund. Any cancellations after this time will result in a total loss of deposit. If you have paid in full, we will deduct the deposit fee and refund you the remaining cost.
Cancellations by us
In the unlikely event that we cannot make a confirmed appointment due to illness or unforseen circumstances, we will issue you a full refund.
We will endeavour notify you in advance if we have had to make a change to your chosen consultant.
We take the safety and comfort of our staff seriously and will not tolerate abuse in any way or form. Please also note that this is a female only service and is in no way a sexual service.
Our consutants have the right to leave your premises if they feel that treatment is not appropriate or if they are treated in an unreasonable/abusive manner.
For health and safety reasons, we also advise clients that no alcohol is to be consumed either before or for the duration of the appointment to ensure that clients are not intoxicated.
